How the West was Won

[Editor’s Note: It is always profitable to look backwards, as it were, and see through the eyes of certain individuals who, as most have never been, in the ‘eye of the storm’, and given a certain perspective, that is then gifted to those with the ability to understand.

In going back over a work, written almost 30 years ago, We felt it timely, if it were presented, that those involved in our native conflagration, our struggle, might better view the over-all imperatives with which we are faced.

Rise of The West is such a work.

We extend, once again, our thanks to the Author, a stalwart defender of the West. The Staff]

The American West, in a strictly cultural sense, is broken up into distinct Nations.

At first glance, many who read this will wonder just what is being said, having no formal instruction other than what little they think they know from television and government ‘think tanks’. It is said that there are forty-eight ‘united states’ [within the Continental U.S.] but that each, voluntarily, make up the Nation as a political unit. In a purely political sense, this is apparent, yet, what is spoken of here is the precise components of biological nations, which inhabit that political unit called ‘america’. Each race-culture, such as Afro-american, Asian-american, Amer-Indian, Mexican-american, ad nauseum, constitute ‘specific’ [biological] nations which act, perform, congregate, celebrate, and decide political, moral, and social issues predicated upon those that are part of their particular race-culture in question. This is political reality.

The Puritan Intellectual Tradition in America: Part 2

The early part of the twentieth century was the high-water mark of Darwinism in the social sciences. It was common at that time to think that there were important differences between the races in both intelligence and moral qualities. Not only did races differ, they were in competition with each other for supremacy. For example, William Graham Sumner was a social Darwinist; he thought that social class and racial divisions as well as competition were part of the natural order of things. Writing in 1903, he noted that “the two races live more independently of each other now than they did” during the slave era.[1] Whereas later in the century, Jewish intellectuals led the battle against Darwinism in the social sciences, racialist ideas became part of the furniture of intellectual life—commonplace among intellectuals of all stripes, including a significant number of Jewish racial nationalists concerned about the racial purity and political power of the Jewish people. Many of them were Zionists who believed in the importance of Jewish racial purity (a Jewish homeland in Israel would prevent assimilation and intermarriage) and Jewish racial superiority .[2]

The Song of Albion: What Dreams May Come?

Song of Albion

[Note: This is an excerpt from Song of Albion, a Work penned by the Author many years ago. It is a ‘historical’ Work, insofar as the flow of History has passed the original draft with many  an un-foreseen occurance in the Life of the West. Strange, however, Truth seems to care little of our accounting of Time, and this Work was prescient, indeed, much more has happened in the West, which proves the validity of this, dare We say it, Prophetic analysis. The Staff]

In today’s world of overreaching denial of Western race-culture, the almost demonic zeal with which our young are denied their own history, in favor of the non-western, is more than dismal – it is an evil thing, a thing which, by most accounts, has changed the very actualizations of the children of the West, for their heroes are not of their stock, their perceptions of beauty, counterfeits of the real expression of their future mates, the roles of masculinity and nobility being given to superficial, banal, and sociologically different types of men and women. This is more than dangerous, and will, in all likelihood, be discounted by many, but it is always a good thing to prove a postulation: So, I urge you, the reader – no, I dare you, to look to your own children, compare them with yourself, and then to your father or grandfather, and see just how far they, and you, have strayed. I dare you.

The Road to Alt Right Artistry

Since Hillary Clinton’s mention of the Alternative Right in one of her speeches, there have been countless discussions about what the Alt Right is and represents, with everyone and anyone, no matter how inappropriate, suddenly declaring they are part of the Alt Right. I think it is quite easy to define what the Alt Right is: it is the postmodern manifestation of what Julius Evola termed the True Right.

The True Right has been almost completely disprivileged from the mainstream arts scene in the present day. The political Left, meaning firstly the Whiggish Left and then the socialist Left, realized as early as the late eighteenth century the power art had to shape political discourse by altering the masses’ perceptions of the world. They thus sought to seize the artistic mainstream as a means towards political power.

Trump the Redeemer, Trump the Destroyer

Trump the Redeemer, Trump the Destroyer

On the fourth night of the Republican National Convention, presidential nominee Donald J. Trump gave an unheard of, albeit leaked, 75-minute speech. I watched most of it, but like many people of my generation, my attention was divided across multiple screens. From my television set, the voice of the authoritarian populist some consider to be literally Hitler blared through my quarters. I would get up every so often to put out a tweet or leave a comment somewhere on my desktop computer in another room. On my phone I was messaging non-movement friends, asking them if they were watching Trump get one step closer to being memed into the White House. They don’t know I was quoted about memes in the New York Times. As the man himself would say, “It doesn’t matter.”

Germany Abolishes Itself

Introduction to “Germany Abolishes Itself: How We Are Gambling with Our Country”

Thilo Sarrazin

Translated from the German by Gregory Ritter. Mr Ritter’s website, Atavistic Intelligentsia, covers a variety of topics, especially those that receive less attention in the Alt-Right, namely Russian and Near Eastern affairs. He writes that “we strive to make our articles and podcasts original, fast-paced and thought-provoking.”

All political pusillanimity consists of concealing and veiling that which is.
Ferdinand Lassalle

Due to the economic and socio-political success of the post-war decades, a certain sense of pride has emerged in Germany. This pride is based on the diligence and efficiency of German citizens, in the steadily increasing standard of living, and the ever more developed welfare state. The four great economic crises — 1966/7, 1974/5, 1981/2 and 2008/9 — have hardly harmed this pride and Germans’ trust in the soundness of their economic and social model. Even the effects of globalization, the shifting balances of power, the environmental pollution and the feared effects of climate change have so far not had a lasting effect. This basic optimism has, after decades of almost undiluted success, clouded Germans’ view of the process of social decay and its hazards.

Submission: A Novel
Trans. Lorin Stein
London: Heinemann, 2015

Michel Houellebecq is one of the finest novelists living today. His most recent novel, Submission, is now out in English. It confirms my long-held suspicion that Houellebecq is a man of the Right, whether or not he admits it to us, or even to himself.

Houellebecq has long been one of the most savage critics of liberal decadence and cant. But Submission reveals that he is also a student of far Right literature, showing a broad familiarity with demographics, eugenics, Traditionalism, European nationalism, distributism, biological race and sex differences, Identitarianism (which he calls “Indigenous Europeanism” in the book), and the critics of Islam.

Commemorating British Casualties of Jewish Terrorism, 1944–1948

Commemorating British Casualties of Jewish Terrorism, 1944–1948

Francis Carr Begbie

031Normally, a gathering of British nationalists in central London, proudly bearing English banners and Union Flags, would be met with a horde of screaming demonstrators bussed in from far and wide. But no disturbance took place last weekend when such a group of patriots assembled near Trafalgar Square and the reason is not hard to discern.

For such interference would have meant drawing attention to a historic episode the British government and the Jewish community leaders would most likely wish forgotten — the killing of 784 British police officers, servicemen, Crown servants and civilian staff by Jewish terrorists in the Palestine Mandate crisis between 1944–48.

Guest Discussion: Fighting Amongst Ourselves

Fighting Amongst Ourselves

via Renegade Tribune

I have been accused of late of fomenting rebellion within the nationalist movement. I suppose this could be construed as the case, although I reject the allegation that it amounts to “fighting amongst ourselves.”

Since the days of fascism—proceeded by the destruction of German nationalism, the subjugation of Italy by homicidal communists and gangsters, and the English 1936 Public Order act which banned the wearing of political uniforms out-of-doors—nationalism has not progressed or developed one iota. Partly it has been diminished to an unrecognisable silhouette of its former vigour, while the rump luxuriates in the past, the way an overly enthusiastic historic reenactment society might. To critically identify and these failings and suggest improvements is not an attempt to incite a fracas, it is a sincere, though deliberate effort to evoke debate, self-evaluation, and fertilise the intellectual pastures of the ‘Far Right.’
